I am a political scientist at the TU Darmstadt, Germany. I currently work as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the working group ‚Comparative Politics and German Government‘.
I hold a PhD in Political Science from the University of Oldenburg, and a M.A. and B.A. in Political Science from the University of Salzburg.
In my research I mainly focus on the analysis of the behavior and political attitudes of party elites and voters on both the national and local level. I am also particularly interested in analyzing the success of populism and its consequences for democracy and political representation as well as its impact on political attitudes.
