I am a political scientist at the University of Oldenburg, Germany. I currently work as a Lecturer at the Working Group ‚Political System of Germany‘.
I hold a PhD in Political Science from the University of Oldenburg, and a M.A. and B.A. in Political Science from the University of Salzburg.
In my research I mainly focus on the analysis of party and voter behavior on both the national and local level. I am also particularly interested in analyzing the success of populism and its consequences for democracy and political representation as well as its impact on political attitudes.
